Celebrating Women Working in STEM on International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is a global day of celebration for the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This day is an opportunity to celebrate the progress made towards achieving gender equality around the world. From the development of COVID-19 vaccines to the mitigation of climate change, female scientists are making vital contributions to the world we live in.

Women STEM-UP partenrs are actively committed to boost women’s passion for STEM by providing female students with the skills, resources and access to expertise necessary to take up ESTEAM for social good. In particular, the “Women STEM UP for GOOD” programme aims to offer a transformative experience for female students and provide them with multiple opportunities to network with peers, mentors, role models, and STEM professionals to co-create “Tech for Good” projects addressing gender equality issues.
